The Nigerian Wife of the Briton, Mrs Wynne has defended her husband, Andrew Wynne against accusations of terrorism. She stated that she have been together with him for nine years and eight of which were as friends before getting married last year. She alleged that her husband is being falsely accused and that the real motive behind the accusations is a personal dispute over a debt.
According to her, one Mr. Olumide owes her husband money and is trying to intimidate him by falsely accusing him of terrorism. She stated that the case is currently in court, and she believes that Mr. Olumide is trying to throw her husband out of the country. She also explained that her husband is currently in the UK because he had recently traveled there, and he is supposed to return around late September.
She said in an interview with Channels TV, ”We have been together for nine years, eight years of friendship before we finally got married last year. My husband is being falsely accused, he has never been a terrorist. My husband is being accused because one Mr Olumide is owing him and he’s not ready to pay him.
The case is in Court even up to now. So, he is just doing anything he can to intimidate my husband and throw him out of the country. He is in UK because he came in recently and at the expiring date of his going back, he had to go back. If not for all these, he is supposed to be back maybe around late September.”
